Quilts, Quilts and more Quilts
I created this blog just for the quilts that I make. It seemed easier to do another blog than to try to add them to my other one... that way the ones who aren't interested in the quilts don't have to be bothered. I don't try to claim I'm an expert quilter, but I do LOVE it! If I could only do one craft, I would DEFINITELY pick quilting.
I've been quilting since about 1991 or so, my great aunt died and she and my great uncle were big quilters and none of the family wanted her quilting books, etc., so I got them. That got me started and I took a class a the LQS to teach me the basics and I've been crazy for it every since! I don't hand quilt much, just occasionally, but I do enjoy hand applique and machine piecing, even sometimes piecing by hand especially if we're traveling or when it's baseball season! I've gotten a ton of blocks done sitting at a baseball game!
This was for my dad, all fishing and lakes and all done in flannel
This was for my niece Hadlee. I had great fun cutting those flowers in half and making sure they matched up!

This was for a high school friend who had a baby. It's all chenille and it is the neatest one I've done, I think!
This was a panel already made, but it turned into the cutest baby boy quilt for my brand new nephew last Christmas!
